Re: The Altar of Stone Jukebox

Back from a busy saturday night. 3:30 am here and I want to dream to this song. Memories of older BF , his 55 chevy, and teenager me, crossing Canada together in Summer of 2010 (escaping from home). He stopped the ole Chevy in the middle of nowhere, Alberta, in the dead of night no town in sight for...

Love'n'Rockets
Another classic. All the best music is before my time. Born in the wrong decade I guess.

Re: Modders vs Puritans

. That's where I would have liked a fresh injection of music the most. What kind of music would you suggest for this? The guy who did doom 64 music ? (I think his name is Hodges) Heavy metal stuff quake 2 style or ambient foreboding stuff quake style? (I myself prefer ambient stuff like quake or do...

Re: The Altar of Stone Jukebox

This one by Kate Bush is breathtaking. Dancing to this one makes me go into a trance. The stage, the audience, it all fades as the music takes over and I my body instinctively responds as the notes resonate and take over my will.

Re: blood'n'booze

Daedalus'n' Vantala: Life without margaritas ....cannot fathom it. Not every night mind you. Just after a long work night like thrice a week . Besides... treating one's liver like an amusement parc should be ok, cuz livers grow back ,right? On a tangential note: Wish there were a chat gizmo on this ...

blood'n'booze

Was curious: who plays blood preferably when sober, tipsy, or hammered? Not sure we can discuss illegal drugs here, but weed is legal in Canada, and it''s my go to mind enhancer when immersing myself in blood. A margarita or two is kinda nice, too. When stoned or slightly tipsy (not hammered), I jus...

Re: The Altar of Stone Jukebox

Ok all's well then (I worry about people quite easily). Musiclessness is good too, come to think of it. This one beach I've gone to the last two Summers (Patera, in Turkey, near Kas) is a one hour walk from the nearest hint of civilisation. All you hear are the waves and the wind, the whole day, day...

Re: Modders vs Puritans

Ooops. I blinked. Then 5 days just whizzed by. To answer Daedalus: yeah, it can be a delicate balancing act. I was lucky to start out with my uncle's old win 98 pentium 200MMX a coupla years back, SO i got a good feel for the original game play (for Blood and Shadow warrior ). played on it for about...
