Re: ANY NEWyear's pics, past or present?

Hands are impossible to shake off on extra crispy so it's game over if one grabs hold. Even though I rarely play on extra crispy, I'm still reflexively wary of them because they were glitched in earlier versions of Blood and wouldn't shake off on any difficulty. At times this would still happen in v...

Re: Friday the 13th

I'm OCD rather than superstitious, but common superstitions can add extra fuel to my compulsions. For Friday the 13th, I just see it as an opportunity to watch one of the movies or play E4M4. If you believe in it, look at it as a global debuff to everyone's luck level, so you're on equal footing if ...

Re: ANY NEWyear's pics, past or present?

Great pic with legs for days! No pics of my own to add either, unfortunately. Hopefully next year. Not being much of a party person, I'll probably win the competition for most unremarkable new year celebrations. I will say that for some new year celebrations I've killed Tchernobog so as to have that...

By Blood site standards it's a raveyard. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Almost always Well Done for whenever I've played the past 10+ years. To me it strikes the perfect balance for seasoned players without making the enemies too damage-spongy unlike Extra Crispy.

The black phantasm was really the star in early glimpses of Blood:

Re: Concept art from 1994 revealed

Turns out Blood 2's bone leech and soul drudge were originally conceived for the first Blood, who knew. Perhaps the "skull cultist" was meant to be drudge priest or lord. First it's drawn next to a wolf, then next to a bat. A shapeshifter? I don't recognize the glyphs from the symbol in th...

Concept art from 1994 revealed

Apogee posted concept art on twitter from very early on in Blood's development: https://twitter.com/Apogee_Ent/status/1598399371716034567?cxt=HHwWjoC8hdHw064sAAAA Really interesting stuff. Werewolves, magic grenades, skull cultists with exposed organs, and what appears like a world or intermission m...

Re: If Blood was done today

No worries, time passes slowly around the altar anyway. Yes, maybe leaning too much into arcade shooter territory wasn't such a good idea - Doom 2016 is not everyone's cup of tea. Speaking of setting... yeah, venturing deep into Wild West territory would result in a major shift in tone. I wanted to ...

RATM set a high bar during a time when quality custom Blood maps were few and far between. Can't wait to finally see where the next part takes Blood after all these years.

Hey Status Cruo, long time no see. Hope you're doing well. ..and of course The Daily Wire and Jordan Peterson While I don't agree with everything that Jordan Peterson says, he's still someone I enjoy listening to. Hard to imagine any politician coming close to being as well-spoken. Besides the "...

Great interview! Made me lol, especially the part about ending world hunger. A true modern day Jeanne D'Arc.
