Just watched "La Vie d'Adèle" ( "Blue Is the Warmest Color") with a friend after the gig.
This is what it feels like to have your heart shattered. A part of you dies and never revives.
Natasha did that to be, never recovered

Can't find a good clip. Gotta watch the whole thing (not hard to find)

Sadly my movie watching has been rather scarce or random due to hectic life I suppose.
One of the best I watched lately was the French Dispatch. Such a visually stunning movie. Loved the cheery atmosphere too.

Other than that a lot of series' as they are shorter by episode. Dopesick, we own this city and wu-tang: an american saga come to mind at first.

Here is a link to that one film I mentioned earlier that best captures what heartbreak REALLY feelsl like;
It takes away a piece of your soul that you will never get back, ever. A part of you is simply dead. And as the years go on, more parts of you wither and shrivel.
Blue is the Warmest color (original: La Vie d'adele)

Ok...NOW I know why the Blood team seems to have opted for the 1920s aesthetic
Nosferatu (1922)

Iwas thinking about which movie to this day frightnened me the most, to the core of my soul.
For me it is rosemary's baby by Polanski.
it is a true diabolical nightmare esp to Catholic me....
worse even than the Omen and the Exorcist
You really gotta see the whole thing.
I dont wanna post parts cuz it would be a spoiler for sure.
here is the film link.

Have to rewatch Rosemary's Baby and Nosferatu, it's been too long.

The most disturbing movie for me would probably be Jacob's Ladder (1990). It captured familiar feelings of impending dread that were common during points of my life. It was said to be the inspiration for Silent Hill.

Here's the opening scene. Death Wish's third episode has parts from this.

Hey I loved that film.
So creepy, kinda like rosmary's baby when you watch it for the first time: you never know how to tell what is real from what is imaginary.
Reminds me of the Nirvana song quip: "just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after you"

I feel that way at every "serious" gig . These can be quite scary when you see in the flesh (if not XXXXX ) so many VIPS that as a mere mortal you should only see on TV, if at all. At times I get very paranoid (but all is well once I get started and focussed)
About the clip: it also plays on my fears of being lost in an empty subway . I used to have nightmares about this esp after the incident at age 12 i told you about in a chat on steam.

Prey was pretty meh. Great setting but the movie went quickly to just another boring action movie. Doesn’t the modern audience have patience any more horror?

Agreed. I cant think of any horror movies in the last 5 years that actually, well, horrified me.
