Absolute must anybody still rocking DOS (or unable to run NBlood like myself). My fav port so far, based on Blood-RE.
Honestly this is as good as it gets for an authentic but improved Blood experience.
Glad to see this place's still arround.

Re: DOSBlood
Sounds interesting. Any idea why you can't get NBlood working?

Re: DOSBlood
NotBlood works fine on XP. Make sure to turn on strict vanilla mode though.Status Cruo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 1:43 amUnfortuntely yes. I'm on XP 32-bit and eduke32 dropped support for the platform years ago.

Re: DOSBlood
@Daedalus: Yes, nothing better for an old time Windows user who stil cares about privacy, performance and compatibility with superior software, but it's been so heavily updated and tweaked it's nothing like what you'd expect to see in an out-of-the-box SP3 installation.
@Pest: Excellent, thanks for the tip, but unfortunately Blood's native display mode is not available, so I'm sticking to DOSBlood unless I can convince NotBlood's developer to add something similar to what Chocolate Doom does; take the 320x200 image and integer-upscale it to <= desktop resolution.
