Re: what games are bloodites playing lately
I bought a PS3 to play the exclusives Resistance 1,2&3 and Killzone 2&3.
Now I'm playing Outriders and it is very good.

Nothing much. I have played occasional "PS1 aesthetic" horror games and got few of them waiting to be played when I get the time.

Currently replaying Cyberpunk 2077. I finished all the base game's ending paths, and one of the expansion's ending paths. There is at least one more expansion ending that I haven't seen yet, so I'm replaying 2077 all the way through once again.
After that, I'll get properly focused on TIE Fighter Total Conversion, a fan-made extensive mod for X Wing Alliance (1999) which remakes the entire 1995 TIE Fighter Collector's Edition campaign in the newer engine. The mod also features a lot of graphical and performance updates in the XWA engine, which means the game overall looks and feels more like a late-00s, early-10s flight sim rather than a late-90s title.
Periodically I fire up Stellaris, a game that's into its 10th year of version updates and DLC releases. The game's complexity and rebalancing are ever-expanding, so it's hard to feel like I've ever really "understood" the game. Maybe the closest I ever got was in 2022, around version 3, when I was able to play one Ironman game of imperialist conquest (and win), followed by another Ironman game of egalitarian peacemaking (and also win). Since then, my experience has largely been "the game goes smoothly until a crisis arrives, and then there's nothing you can do to make a difference even if you're otherwise the most powerful empire around".
I also bought X4 Foundations, a space vessel exploration game with various faction mechanics. Honestly the only reason I'm getting it is because there's another fan-made extensive Star Wars mod for it.
Outside of computers, the current boardgames I'm playing are: Star Wars Rebellion, Flashpoint South China Sea, and The Witcher Old World.

"All right, I'm going to ask you a series of questions. Just relax and answer them as simply as you can."
